Meet Dr. Jessica Thompson ND

Raised in rural Ontario, Dr. Jessica grew to appreciate the healing effects of nature and community. She passionate about teaching and empowering her patients about their healthcare options. Using an integrative approach to health, she works with her patients to utilize evidence-based medicine as well as “tried and true” traditional methods.

She has a general practice and enjoys helping patients of all ages with different health concerns.

Training

Through her clinical training, Dr. Jessica worked at the Canadian Naturopathic Medical teaching clinic in Toronto, ON on a Pediatric focused shift, in addition to working as an intern at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Dr. Jessica had the opportunity to complete an externship during her final year of studies, which she completed at Ocean Park Natural Therapies in Surrey, BC. After graduation and completion of licensing exams, she returned to Ocean Park Natural Therapies and began practicing as a registered Naturopathic Doctor under mentorship.

She has professional interests in sports medicine, musculoskeletal injuries and pain management.

In her personal time, she enjoys staying active outdoors and volunteering with the Alouette River Management Society (ARMS).
